Assessing Your Organisation Against ISO 15489 Records Management

Working within the frameworks of AS 3806 Compliance Programmes and ISO 15489 Records Management, this course guides participants through a self-assessment of their records management programs against the key requirements identified in ISO 15489-1 Records Management. At the completion of this course participants will have commenced an assessment of their records management program using RIMDoctor.com.au and prepared a draft action plan for improving recordkeeping within their organisations.

This course costs $600, including GST, per participant. (GST does not apply to NZ courses).


The course fee includes arrival tea and coffee, lunch, morning/afternoon teas, course notes, two assessments using the ISO 15489 Records Management Comprehensive Check-up and use of computers to undertake practical activities.

Note: This course is Day 2 of the Auditing and Monitoring Records Management Programs course.  It focuses on the assessment of participant’s records management program.  To gain an understanding of the requirements, steps and techniques for establishing auditing and monitoring programs for recordkeeping it is best to register for the course Auditing and Monitoring Records Management Programs.
